Anthophyllite is often mistaken for astrophyllite. Both can display a starburst effect in a matrix stone, but astrophyllite is a golden color, while anthophyllite starbursts are a lustrous blue and/or yellow color.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I am not a geologist, nor do I have the tools to properly identify rare specimens such as anthophyllite and astrophyllite. These plates were sold to me as astrophyllite and arfvedsonite. However, based on the limited research I was able to do online, they are more likely to be anthophyllite. It was also very difficult to find information about the metaphysical properties of Anthophyllite. As with all crystals, the spiritual information provided is a guideline, but work with it to discover how it works for you!
