Bolivian Grape Amethyst Cabochon - I
Amethyst calms the mind, which improves your sleep, reduces anxiety, and aids in meditation. It connects you to higher realms, and enables you to overcome limiting beliefs. It is a magical stone that opens the third eye and crown chakras improving your intuition, psychic ability, and shielding.
This teardrop cabochon weighs approximately 7g and measures 1”x1”x0.25”. It is a deep top grade purple color with a wet polish, and was ethically sourced from Bolivia. This piece has yellow-orange phantoms - most likely natural citrine - that you can see when you hold it up to the light. Cabochons are flat on one side and rounded and polished on the other. Cabs are ideal for setting in jewelry but can also be used as worry stones or meditation aids.
“Grape” refers to the deep purple color of the amethyst, rather than the shape. It should not be confused with grape agate, which is named after the shape of the botryoidal (spherical) clusters of purple chalcedony.
